Support Team

Amber, Group Coordinator

Amber is our Group Coordinator.  As well as managing our Blackheath clinics, she assists with helping all of our other surgeries run smoothly and efficiently.  She has 19 years experience working in the veterinary field, starting off as a student veterinary nurse then gradually working her way up into her current managerial role, which she is really enjoying.

Amber lives at home with her husband and two children.  In her spare time she likes going to the gym, horse riding and going out with friends.

Lizzy, Registered Veterinary Nurse

Lizzy joined the team here at Blackheath Veterinary Surgery in July 2012, and prior to that had three years experience working part time in a another veterinary surgery.  Lizzy has just qualified as a Veterinary Nurse.  

She has two cats called Thomas and Sophie, but has owned a variety of pets over the years, and would love to work with Marine Mammals in the future.

Rebekah, Registered Veterinary Nurse

Rebekah is a registered veterinary nurse who qualified with a BSc honours degree in veterinary nursing in 2014. She has been working within the veterinary field since 2010 but joined us at Blackheath Veterinary Surgery in March 2018.

She has three jack russell terriers called Tuppence, Bonnie and Piggy.

Rebekah has a keen interest in behaviour and nutrition and is hoping to complete a certificate in these areas in the near future.

Sarah, Receptionist/Qualified Animal Nursing Assistant

Sarah is our main receptionist, and also a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant. She's been working in a veterinary practice for 6 years but joined Blackheath Vets in 2015. 

She loves interacting with the clients and their fluffy little friends. 

In her spare time she loves to travel and read. Sarah is hoping to own a Springer Spaniel of her own one day as this is her favourite breed of dog.

Chloe, Patient Care Assistant

Before joining the surgery's team, Chloe attended Hadlow college where she achieved her Diploma in Animal Management. In the past Chloe has taken part in various work placements including volunteering on farms and in veterinary practices. 

Chloe does not currently own any pets, but has owned and cared for a range of animals in the past, including dogs and rabbits.

Kim, Veterinary Receptionist

Kim recently joined Blackheath Veterinary Surgery, she has 17 years experience as a veterinary receptionist & loves interacting with the clients.

She has always had a German Shepherd in her life & currently owns Poppy a behaviorally challenged, (very spoiled) GSD cross Husky & Jim an FIV tabby cat courtesy of her previous practice!

She is interested in dog behaviour & enjoys many crafts, travel & spending time with her grandchildren in her spare time.

Mon - Fri: 8.30am - 6.30pm
Wednesdays: open until 8pm
Saturdays: 8.30am - 12 noon
Sundays: 11.00am - 1.00pm
