Welcome to Blackheath Veterinary Surgery
We are a one vet, three nurse practice and, we value the relationships we build with all our clients. Our vet Alan Van Heerden has been a qualified veterinary surgeon for 14 years. Alan is a registered LVI and, is therefore able to issue pet passports so you can travel with your pet abroad. The team of nurses is made up of Amber, Sarah and Eleanor.
We are able to provide a large number of services including high quality x-rays, with our brand new digital x-ray machine, ultrasound scans, plus many more - please explore our services link for more information.
In our reception area we have a selection of leads, collars, toys and treats, if, however you don't see what you are looking for please click on the dog below to take you to our new online shop.
For all first kitten and puppy vaccinations you will receive a free pack with samples and useful information such as insurance, microchipping etc.
There is free parking available outside the surgery.

Our Veterinary Surgery in London was opened in March 2006 by Mr Alan Van Heerden, who has been a qualified veterinary surgeon for 13 years. Our surgery team is made up of one vet and three nurses and we appreciate the relationships that we build with our clients. We offer full support and a professional service giving the best care for your pet. Our London vets surgery was opened with the intention of providing the very best care for your family pets, from cats and dogs to snakes and lizards.
We have a fully equipped operating theatre at our Vets in London, so we are able to offer a range of services from dental care to routine and non routine surgery. We are also able to provide home visits between 12pm and 3pm Monday to Friday. Our vet in London surgery offers everything you would need for your pet care. We have vast experience in treating animals and will give you the professional and friendly service you require.
